Traditionally, Black Friday sales have included products like TVs, game consoles, houseware goods, toys, clothes, computers and so much more. This year we have a new category entirely that should offer some desirable options: the smartwatch category.

Most of you may not necessarily need a smartwatch, but that’ hasn’t stopped you from desiring one. It’s just unfortunate that they cost so much, otherwise you probably would have picked one up already. Don’t fret, because this year there are some really great black friday smartwatch deals available.

The Best Black Friday Smartwatch Deals

To help you save some money, and snag a few awesome products we’ve compiled a list of the best Black Friday smartwatch deals going on this week. If you want a great deal, new smartwatch or decent holiday gift then look no further!

Misfit Flash budget fitness trackerWal-Mart: Misfit Flash ($24)

For all you fitness lovers out there, this is a great deal. Wal-Mart is offering the Misfit Flash for $24 (regularly $49.95). If you can’t make it to Wal-Mart, Best Buy is also offering a deal for $25.

It’s a waterproof, clip-based fitness tracker that can also be worn on the wrist like a smartwatch with the bundled wristband. It does not include a display, nor does it include any smartwatch like notifications so keep that in mind. However, it can monitor data such as steps taken, calories burned and sleep patterns.

If you’re just looking for a cheap, but reliable fitness tracker you can’t go wrong with the Misfit Flash. In case you’re wondering, yes there is a companion smartphone app for organizing all the collected data.

Best Buy: Pebble ($80)

The Pebble and Pebble Steel devices are two of the most versatile and reliable smartwatch models on the market right now. The base model — in the original plastic design — is normally $100, but Best Buy is running a deal for $20 off, coming in at $80 for the regular Pebble model. If you’d rather have the more attractive Pebble Steel, that will be $149.99 at Besy Buy.

Either way, you can get the Pebble for relatively cheap when Best Buy’s Black Friday smartwatch deals kick off. If you’ve been thinking about picking one of these up, now is the time.

Wal-Mart: Fitbit Flex ($69)

If you haven’t heard of the brand Fitbit by now, then you’ve surely been living under a rock. The Fitbit Flex, one of the better fitness trackers available, will be discounted to $69 during Black Friday at Wal-Mart.

Fitbit ChargeTarget: Fitbit Charge ($100)

Fitbit’s newest device the Charge will be discounted at Target for $100. The biggest difference is that it includes a small LED display and it can receive notifications and alerts from a connected smartphone. It also vibrates for silent alarms, tracks sleeping patterns, syncs wirelessly with connected devices, and more.

It’s worth noting that the Charge does not include a heart-rate sensor. However, an updated model will be offered sometime in 2015 that does. If you want the heart-rate monitor then hold off for now, or look for another comparable device.

Amazon, Best Buy and Dell: Garmin Vivofit ($80)

The Vivofit is Garmin’s premiere fitness tracker, and it was launched earlier this year. The battery life purportedly lasts for twelve months — which is insane — and is compatible with some chest-worn heart-rate sensors. As an added bonus, it does include some basic smartwatch features – one of which includes operating as a traditional timekeeping device.

The Garmin Vivofit will be offered at a discount for $80 through several retailers during Black Friday including Amazon, Best Buy and Dell.

LG G Watch sideways whiteAT&T: LG G Watch ($99)

The LG G Watch was one of the first Android Wear powered smartwatches available. While it’s far from the best watch on the market, it’s certainly not the worst. Thanks to the Black Friday deal through AT&T which is offering it for $99, it also happens to be one of the cheapest Android Wear devices.

If you fancy an Android powered smartwatch that can do a whole slew of things like displaying notifications and alerts from a connected smartphone, or running native apps then this isn’t a bad deal at all.

AT&T: Samsung Gear 2 Neo ($99)

Do you own a Samsung branded handset? Have you wanted to get your hands on a Samsung smartwatch to go along with your phone? Well here’s your chance, and you can get one for pretty cheap too – in comparison to Samsung’s usual prices anyway.

AT&T is offering the Samsung Gear 2 Neo for $99. Keep in mind, the Gear 2 Neo is not powered by Android like the original Galaxy Gear. Instead Samsung outfitted their latest devices with Tizen, a proprietary OS. That said, it can connect with Samsung handsets to display notifications and receive calls. It even includes an integrated speaker so you can use the Neo as a remote speakerphone which is something you can’t do with Android Wear devices as of yet.

Then take a look at the Samsung Gear Fit, which will be offered at a discount by several retailers including Dell, AT&T and Best Buy.

It tracks basic smartwatch data like steps, calories burned and more. There is no heart-rate tracker on offer though.

Best Buy: Jawbone UP24 ($80)

Another well-known brand in the fitness tracking market, the UP24 from Jawbone connects through the excellent mobile fitness app. The UP24 was launched late last year, so it is one of the older models on offer but that shouldn’t stop you, it’s still a great device. That said, Jawbone will be launching an updated version soon with heart-rate tracking support.

Best Buy will be selling the Jawbone UP24 for $80 when their Black Friday smartwatch deals go live if you’re interested.

Martian NotifierAT&T: Martian Notifier ($99)

The Martian Notifier is a traditional analog wrist-watch with a small LCD notifications display. You can even customize the notifications, vibrations and alerts as you see fit through the companion app. It works with Android and iOS devices, which is always a plus.

If you’re at all interested you might want to jump on this deal, the Martian Notifier for $99 which will be offered by AT&T on Black Friday.

Best Buy: Garmin Forerunner 15 ($140)

The Garmin Forerunner 15 actually happens to be one of the best running-companion trackers available. Of particular note is the integrated GPS support so you can track your distance traveled, route and much more. It can also be paired up with a chest-worn heart-rate sensor similar to the Polar watches. It tracks a great deal of fitness information, and offers basic readouts on the display. The battery will last for up to eight hours with the GPS running, or five weeks in the basic activity tracking and watch modes.

If you want one, Best Buy is offering the Forerunner 15 for $140 when their Black Friday smartwatch deals launch.
