The second generation smartwatch from Pebble is the first legitimate attempt at blending an attractive watch design with smart functionality. Garnering great reviews for its design, the Pebble Steel does not appear to be a smartwatch at first glimpse. However, its multiple watch face selection, preference on notifications and ever growing app store make it a very capable gadget. Although functionality has not changed with this iteration, design and style certainly have. This smartwatch certainly falls into the category of luxury with an above average price tag, but the Pebble Steel is a pioneer in the early stage of smartwatch mass market penetration.
