The Neptune Pine is designed to be a standalone device, or as the developers claim packing more features than any other wrist device out there, without the need of a nearby smartphone. You can insert a micro-SIM card directly into the watch to make and receive calls and send SMS messages. It includes 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity which allow you to completely browse the internet, social websites and more. In addition, the device is designed to work with native Android apps which means instead of downloading content from a proprietary web store, you can get them directly from Google Play. The device is fully detachable from the strap so that you can snap photos, text with two thumbs and more. There are two cameras including a front facing VGA, and a rear-facing 5 megapixel shooter. The display is a 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen, and there are three different internal storage options (8, 16 and 32GB).
