The Omate Rise is one of the first smartwatches to actually house a voice assistant, as it makes use of Amazon�s Alexa API. It�s powered by Android 5.1 and Omate OUI 4.0, a custom OS designed by the Omate team. The voice command function can be used to set reminders, make voice memos, play music, start navigation, conduct web searches, get weather updates, check commute times, set up personal reminders, track fitness, and read or reply to messages. It has a 1.3-inch touchscreen display protected by a �sapphire coating� which is scratch and shatter resistant. A micro SIM slot means it can connect to mobile networks, if you want to shed your phone. Otherwise, it will sync with Android and iOS phones. It even has a 1ATM water resistance rating.
