Unlike the other Gear models the Gear Fit is designed to be a fitness band as opposed to a smartwatch. It does offer some smartwatch-like features such as a clock with various watchfaces, a calendar app and a stopwatch. Otherwise, the device was designed from the ground up to track fitness activity similar to the FitBit. The Gear Fit includes a heart rate monitor and several sensors to track exercise, sleep and more. The curved 1.84” super AMOLED display is unique to the device, and the module can be removed from the band completely. The Gear Fit is $199, which - should be noted - is pretty expensive for a fitness band.
