The Sony SmartWatch 3 is the company's first Android Wear powered smartwatch that was unveiled at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin, running from September 5 - 10, 2014. Currently there is no US release date, however it's expected to launch before the end of the year in the UK for 229. Expect the US price to be close to that, if not the exact equivalent. It features a 1.63" Transflective touchscreen display that is visible even in direct sunlight. The device is designed to look like Sony's previous SmartWatch models with slight variations in size and the overall seamless style. The SmartWatch 3 is meant to be more fitness oriented thanks to an integrated compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer despite the lack of a heart rate sensor.
