The NanoSmart is not simply a repurposed smartwatch with phone features, instead it was created with the sole purpose of serving as a backup phone. It includes GSM quad-band support, along with integrated Bluetooth. Because the NanoSmart is a standalone device it is capable of making calls and sending/receiving SMS and MMS. It can sync wirelessly with iOS 4.0+ and Android 2.3+ handsets.
